Driving directions from
Malaga Airport to Calahonda

From the airport follow directions to Malaga/Cadiz. Then Torremolinos/Cadiz.

Join main carriageway.

Follow signs to Benalmadena, Algeciras; Main road takes a sharp right (at the junction for Torremolinos).

Stay on this road until the split of the Autopista (Peage- toll motorway AP7) and Autovia. (Dual carriageway A7)

Either way is a good route but the Toll road is obviously quicker.

Option 1: Motorway (quickest route) AP7

Stay on motorway until Calahonda exit.

There is a toll booth on exit. Leave toll booth and proceed to roundabout.

Take second exit (this does not count a small service exit).

Carry on down the hill and Gran Calahonda will be found on the right.

Option 2: Dual carriageway (free) Autovia A7

Keep right and follow signs to Fuengirola/Algeciras. Stay on this road passing several exits for Mijas and Fuengirola. The road becomes AUTOVIA DEL MEDITERRANEO.

Keep going past industial estates on the outskirts of Fuengirola. The road will carry on along the coast passing the castle, Beatriz Hotel, small urbanisations of EL Faro, La Cala de Mijas, Jardin Botanico, Miraflores and Riviera.

Shortly after Riviera you will pass a Cepsa garage and some restaurants.

Signal right immediately after a pedestrian bridge over the road. This is Calle los Adarves.

On the left you will see EL Zoco Arabian style shopping centre. On the opposite side of the dual carriageway is a large sign advertising the Dona Lola complex.

Proceed up to the junction. As you go over the junction you will see Los Olivos Complex on the right .

Immediately after Los Olivos entrance you will see Gran Calahonda on the left.

If you miss the turn off after the Cepsa garage, just take the next one (church on right) continue up to the roundabout and straightover will bring you to the junction near Los Olivos.

There is a toll booth on exit. Leave toll booth and proceed to roundabout. Take second exit (this does not count a small service exit). Carry on down the hill and Gran Calahonda will be found on the right.
